~The Great Monster Trio~

You know what I'm talking about ... the big three of childhood cereal fantasies -- Boo Berry, Frankenberry and Count Chocola! Here is the official (OK, not-so-offical - "just my opinion" ) verdict. The best of the three is definitely Boo Berry! Frankenberry runs a close second, but is over-all a little too sweet. Count Chocola is not bad, but it's still not my favorite cocoa flavoring - that honor still sits with Cocoa Pebbles. Let's see... how about a marshmallow rating -- overall the marshmallows in all three are flavorful and hold their consistency in milk - a must for a cereal-marshmallow in my opinion.

Don't know if they still make this, but in the mid-80s the Rice Crispy people tried making a Rice Crispy with Marshmallows. They were tiny little cylindrical pastel bits that almost immediately became one with the milk -- what is the point?! Of course, the definitive cereal marshmallow is the Charms of Lucky Charms, but truthfully, these monster marshmallows held their own.
